Digestion:
Our stomach is directly connected to the brain. When we have digestive imbalances, such as slow digestion, nausea or bloating; our mood is affected. This can cause brain fog, anxiety, and mood swings.
Along with such imbalances, we can experience skin troubles, such as acne, rashes, and itchy skin. What is going on inside our gut will be pushed through our skin.
When our digestion is out of balance, we may experience diarrhea or constipation, feeling more sluggish in our day-to-day life. A white tongue is a major indicator of gut imbalance.
What can you do about it?
We can take digestive bitters, keep a food log, or do an elimination diet. There are many digestive herbs that can be utilized, along with enemas and other helpful protocols. Reducing sugar (not fruit) can greatly help in balancing your gut microbiome.
My personal experience...
I have personally struggled with digestive imbalances in my own life. I had most, if not all, of these symptoms listed. Finding through an elimination diet, certain herbs and more rest, I felt a lot better. It took me months to get my digestion back to "normal". Years later, I had the same digestive troubles again, learning from my previous experience I was better prepared.
Healing takes time. Keeping on the path is very rewarding. You are not alone in this. let's do this together.
